Other: Lilly started school this month! She has been so excited about going for so long. She has started making new friends and loves her teacher. Its been a big change for her to be gone all morning and afternoon but she is doing very well.

Other: Logan got some quality mom time this month with Lilly starting school and he is soaking up every minute of it too. He is starting to be more vocal but still isn't talking much but we will get there soon enough.

September was a month full of firsts for us.

First time putting a child in school,

First day of school,

First time no having to share with Lilly,

but its been great and everyone has really enjoyed the new changes.

Mommy Monday - August 2014

We had a pretty mellow month in our house this month. the kids painted and played but not much other than that. Here is a little update.

Other: Lilly has been hanging out with a new friend this month. She has also taken a big interest in painting, coloring, and play-doh. And she is very excited to be starting school next month.

Other: Lilly had an interesting month. She decided to cut her own hair, thankfully it was salvageable. she also has been doing lots of singing, drawing, and dancing!

Other: Logan is a total momma's boy! seems like I can't get without of sight these days. I don't mind it much though seeing as Lilly isn't much of a cuddler anymore.

Other: Lilly has been enjoying all the days we've been able to get outside without the rain, but on our days in she has been doing alot of drawing and coloring, and playing with her brother of course

Other: Logan has taken a huge interest in all of his car and truck toys, it seems like he always has one with him. He has also become a bit of a wild child and is always trying to make an escape to get outside. He also climbs on EVERYTHING!

Its been a somewhat uneventful couple of months with Mr.W working and the weather not being quite as kind as usual, but we do our best to find new adventures for our family.

Mommy Monday - April 2014

This was a somewhat hectic month for us. We returned from our month long leave back to the good ole' USA, leaving the kids slightly jet lagged and everyone a little off. After getting back into the swing of things the rest of the month has gone pretty smoothly. Anyways here is the montly update on the kiddos!

Other: Lilly was very happy to be back in the warm and the sunshine. She especially enjoyed the post easter egg hunt and all of the other activities for Easter. Lilly is almost completely potty trained we are currently working on nighttime training, which is going surprisingly well.

Favorite Food: Oatmeal (brown sugar cinnamon)

Other: Logan is WALKING!!!! After all the waiting he is finally walking, the only downside is that walking leads to climbing and more mischief. He also had the hardest time of all of us readjusting to the time change but has been happier than ever since he got back on his schedule.

Also we have decided to add to our family. We are currently in the process of adopting an American Staffordshire Terrier puppy, which Mr.W has decided to name "Vader" (yes, like darth vader) Can't wait to introduce him to everyone!

Mommy Monday - Feb 2014

February was a pretty long and boring month for our family.

Aside from Mr.W training all month and the occasional FRG event we didn't do a whole lot, especially due to the abundance of rain! Anyway, here is my monthly kid update!

Other: We got Lilly some new chalk to play with and we had lots of fun playing with it. She also got to help me with our FRG bake sale, and she was an excellent sales girl!

Other: Logan is starting to stand on his own, even if its only for a few seconds. He has also been making small attempts at walking but never really gets past the first step alone. Over all he is just being his happy playful self!

On another note, thanks to tax season we will be able to go home for a little while next month!

Mommy Monday - Jan 2014

With the roar of the holiday season coming to an end, January was a pretty slow and quiet month for us. We found out that it rains here A LOT this time off year but the kids kept busy with all their new toys and playing with friends.

Other: What few days that it wasn't raining Lilly loved being able to go to the park. We watched lots of movies lilly was a fan of pretty much any princess movie, but Frozen was her favorite by far.

Other: Logan was very happy to play at the park on the few nice days we had, but what he liked even more was going to the gym with Mr.W and playing with the basketballs. We also found out that Logan really likes Sesame Street.

With all the hustle and bustle of the holidays I didn't have a chance to post much but here is the december update on the kids.

Other: Lilly really enjoyed watching all the different Christmas movies and helping me get ready for Santa to come. Her favorite part of the month was all the cookies we made especially the ones we made for Santa. And they must have been really good cookies because he brought her lots of toys this year.

Other: Logan had his first real Christmas this year (he was only a month old last year) and this included lots of cookie eating and present opening! Logan isn't walking on his own just yet but he does fine getting around holding onto the couch and to our hands.

Other: Lilly had a lot of fun helping me get ready for Logan's party. On our trip to the circus she even got to sit on an elephant! Me and a friend took her to see the movie "Frozen" Lilly had a pretty great month.

Age: 1 YEAR!

Height: 2ft 4in

Weight: about 20 lbs

Diapers: size 3

Eats: 2-3 8oz. bottles a day, and lots of other food too!

Favorite Food: Cake

Other: Logan turned one this month! He had such a good time at his party and got lots of new toys. but i think his favorite part was eating the cake. He has also learned to wave "hello" and "goodbye". We even went to his first circus! It was a pretty fun and exciting month for Logan.

Mommy Monday - October 2013

It was a nice month for our family. Mr W was working the day shift so he was home every night with us and the kids had a blast with all the fall/Halloween events that happened this month.

Other: Lilly had a fun month. It was a pretty eventful month. she had a sleep over and went trick or treating. She's been a little stir crazy though, due to the sudden abundance of rain. Over all she it was a good month for her.

Eats: 3-4 8oz. bottles a day. Plus 1-2 jars of food and some regular food too

Favorite Food: Macaroni and Cheese

Other: Logan is getting SO big! he is crawling and sitting and playing and climbing and standing! He even got to celebrate his first Halloween! he ate a lot of lollipops and even a few chocolate bars. He likes to play with his sisters stuff more than his own but what younger sibling doesn't?

Favorite TV Show: Strawberry Shortcake : Berry Bitty Adventures

Other: Lilly has suddenly developed a fear of the dark. If the light in the bathroom is off she wont go in unless someone turns the light on for her first and the same thing at bedtime. Other than that there isnt much new with her this month.

Age: 10 Months

Height: 2ft 3in

Weight: about 18 lbs

Diapers: size 3

Eats: 3-4 8oz. bottles a day. Plus 1-2 jars of food as well as some finger foods

Favorite Food: Gerber Blueberry puffs

Other: Logan's top two teeth are about to pop through any day now. and he's very much in this phase of wanting to feed himself so jar food hasn't been wanted as much this month. He really loves the gerber brand puffs, bread, mac n cheese, and he's even had some small pieces of meatballs and cheese. He has learned how to pull himself up onto his feet and is becoming more adventurous everyday.

Overall the kids are doing great. They are happy, healthy, and growing.

Sorry I missed July but here is another update on the kiddos

Height: 3ft 2in

Weight: about 35lbs

Other: Lilly has been playing with her friends a lot. She loves being outside and one of her friends has even shown her how to climb trees. She still has that feisty 3-year-old attitude but she loves to cuddle up on the couch with us and watch cartoons and movies. 

Age: 9 Months

Height: 2ft 3in

Weight: about 17lbs

Diapers: size 3

Eats: 3-4 8oz. bottles a day. Plus 2-3 5 oz jars of food.

Favorite Food: Sweet Potatoes. 

Other: Logan is crawling, He does hands and knees if its a short distance but still low crawls if he's planing on going more than a couple feet. He has 2 teeth as you can tell from the picture. He is sleeping through the night and is as curious as ever. He loves playing with his sister and all her toys. He's happy over all unless you tell him no when he tries to get the dogs food.
