Mommy Monday - October 2014

October has been a pretty good month for us with lots of fun parties and events!

Other: Lilly had a fun month with a school carnival, 2 birthday parties, and the upcoming halloween events. She is also doing really well with school and is always excited to tell me about the new things they do and show me her "homework" she even started learning some sign language!

Other: Its been a pretty low key month for Logan. We have been runny errands together and chilling out at home. He is already getting his sweet tooth going with all the parties and such this month.

We also attended the chocolate festival this month which was a lot of fun and the kids each got a special treat while we were out.

Cioccolandovi 2014

Cioccolandovi is the annual chocolate festival here in Vicenza. We went last year and got some goodies and Lilly even got a chocolate Rapunzel. This year the festival was a little bigger and the kids still got there special treats. We also let Vader tag along with us this time. It was a lot of fun and was a nice outing after a crazy week of baby shower planning! Here are a few pictures to show this years festival.

September was full of new things for our family!

Other: Lilly started school this month! She has been so excited about going for so long. She has started making new friends and loves her teacher. Its been a big change for her to be gone all morning and afternoon but she is doing very well.

Favorite Food: Anything mom or dad is eating.

Other: Logan got some quality mom time this month with Lilly starting school and he is soaking up every minute of it too. He is starting to be more vocal but still isn't talking much but we will get there soon enough.

September was a month full of firsts for us.

First time putting a child in school,

First day of school,

First time no having to share with Lilly,

but its been great and everyone has really enjoyed the new changes.

Mommy Monday - Jan 2014

With the roar of the holiday season coming to an end, January was a pretty slow and quiet month for us. We found out that it rains here A LOT this time off year but the kids kept busy with all their new toys and playing with friends.

Other: What few days that it wasn't raining Lilly loved being able to go to the park. We watched lots of movies lilly was a fan of pretty much any princess movie, but Frozen was her favorite by far.

Eats: 2 bottles a day and real people food, no more jar food!
Favorite Food: French Fries
Favorite TV Show: Sesame Street

Other: Logan was very happy to play at the park on the few nice days we had, but what he liked even more was going to the gym with Mr.W and playing with the basketballs. We also found out that Logan really likes Sesame Street.

Christmas 2013

This was our first Christmas in Italy, and it was a pretty good one.

I participated in the post Christmas Revue and we got to do all kinds of things with the kids, we decorated cookies and the Christmas tree, We were even sent a special guest by Santa. This was Logan's first real Christmas considering last year he was only a month old, and between that and his birthday he made out pretty well in the gift department. All in all it was a good Christmas for us, the only thing that would have made it better would have been having the rest of our family with us to celebrate.

Mommy Monday - Nov. 2013

Other: Lilly had a lot of fun helping me get ready for Logan's party. On our trip to the circus she even got to sit on an elephant! Me and a friend took her to see the movie "Frozen" Lilly had a pretty great month.

Age: 1 YEAR!

Height: 2ft 4in

Weight: about 20 lbs

Diapers: size 3

Eats: 2-3 8oz. bottles a day, and lots of other food too!

Favorite Food: Cake

Other: Logan turned one this month! He had such a good time at his party and got lots of new toys. but i think his favorite part was eating the cake. He has also learned to wave "hello" and "goodbye". We even went to his first circus! It was a pretty fun and exciting month for Logan.

SANTA! Oh My Gosh! SANTA'S COMING ! ! !

Yes.

I am one of those people. You know the ones... The ones that get way too excited for Christmas, way too early. Yep, that's me! 

I think that fact that i have to order Christmas gifts super early due to being overseas and all just makes it worse.

This year we will be introducing a reindeer to the kids... Kind of like the whole Elf on The Shelf thing but way cheaper. I just couldn't bring myself to spend $30 on a doll, so instead I found this cute $6 reindeer.



I plan on doing all the same things with this as you could do with the elf.

There are only 43 Days until Christmas and me and Lilly watch at least one Christmas movie a day thanks to Netflix. Here are some of our favorite holiday movies.

Mommy Monday - October 2013

It was a nice month for our family. Mr W was working the day shift so he was home every night with us and the kids had a blast with all the fall/Halloween events that happened this month.

Other: Lilly had a fun month. It was a pretty eventful month. she had a sleep over and went trick or treating. She's been a little stir crazy though, due to the sudden abundance of rain. Over all she it was a good month for her.

Age: 11 Months

Height: 2ft 4in

Weight: about 19 lbs

Diapers: size 3

Eats: 3-4 8oz. bottles a day. Plus 1-2 jars of food and some regular food too

Favorite Food: Macaroni and Cheese

Other: Logan is getting SO big! he is crawling and sitting and playing and climbing and standing! He even got to celebrate his first Halloween! he ate a lot of lollipops and even a few chocolate bars. He likes to play with his sisters stuff more than his own but what younger sibling doesn't?

Sorry I missed July but here is another update on the kiddos

Age: 3 years

Height: 3ft 2in

Weight: about 35lbs

Favorite Food: Macaroni & cheese with hotdogs

Favorite Fruit: Apples & Strawberries

Favorite Movie: We are between movies

Favorite TV Show: Sofia the First

Other: Lilly has been playing with her friends a lot. She loves being outside and one of her friends has even shown her how to climb trees. She still has that feisty 3-year-old attitude but she loves to cuddle up on the couch with us and watch cartoons and movies. 

Age: 9 Months

Height: 2ft 3in

Weight: about 17lbs

Diapers: size 3

Eats: 3-4 8oz. bottles a day. Plus 2-3 5 oz jars of food.

Favorite Food: Sweet Potatoes. 

Other: Logan is crawling, He does hands and knees if its a short distance but still low crawls if he's planing on going more than a couple feet. He has 2 teeth as you can tell from the picture. He is sleeping through the night and is as curious as ever. He loves playing with his sister and all her toys. He's happy over all unless you tell him no when he tries to get the dogs food.
