Fancy Finds Friday #4

Little Green Pouch (4-Pack) - Reusable Food Pouches

I saw an ad for these in a magazine and I'm dying to try them. They seem like they would save so much money because Lilly just LOVES those little fruit pouches.

Finally saw this for the first time. Super cute father daughter movie!

Suggested by my mother in law. It's almost like temple run but you can compete against friends.

Top Pins for May

It's a daily calendar that can be reused each year and gets better the longer you use it. Each day you write the year and something that happened that day like, "(Child's name) took her first steps." Imagine how neat it would be in 10 years.
The seems like the perfect idea to keep track of the kids milestones and other events.

Thought this would look so cool in the kids rooms... maybe a fairy for Lilly and some sport stuff or animals for Logan

KID CRAFT: Foam Dough! Easy to make and only 2 ingredients + color!
Definitely trying this on a rainy day.

Christmas gifts?

Keepsake box full of mementos and pictures from a trip.
For Kids art work instead of places maybe.

Vroom, Vroom, Kaput!

So Mr. W went to WLC and i'm the person that manages to mess things up when he wasn't even gone for 6 hours yet... i'm the person who puts DIESEL in a unleaded gas car.... yep. anyone who has been to italy before knows that its not like the states where you have "regular, Super, Premium, and Diesel" they just have "diesel and super"

Granted this would not have happened if we had our impala. But now we have some old European car my husband has names "the green goblin". Luckily the auto skills shop on post will be able to tow and fix it rather cheaply, because from what I'm told I'm not the first or last person to do the same thing. So keep your fingers crossed for us that everything works out as planned.

Mommy Monday - May 2013

Since i've been slacking some... here is an update on the kids.

Lillian

Age: 3 years
Height: 3ft 1in
Weight: about 31lbs
Diapers: NONE! We finally got her Potty Trained!
Favorite Food: Anything with Ketchup
Favorite Fruit: Apples & Strawberries
Favorite Movie: Wreck-It-Ralph
Other: Aside from the typical 3 year old attitude and sassiness, Lilly is adjusting very well to Italy. She knows how to say Ciao and Grazie. She's made some new friends and the park is her favorite place to go. After struggeling with potty training for a bit she finally got the hang of it (besides the occasional bed wetting)
She is getting along better with Logan, She actually tries to play with him now..

Logan

Age: 6 Months
Height: 2ft 2in
Weight: about 15lbs
Diapers: size 2
Eats: 4-5 8oz. bottles a day.
Other: Logan has grown so much in the past couple of months! He is awake for most of the day now and only wakes up once a night. He has started teething but none have broken through the gums yet. He still doesn't cry much and loves to laugh and smile at people. He's not very interested in baby food yet. he just makes the "eww" face and spits it out.

Ciao! From Italia!

Ciao!

I can't believe its been over two months since my last post! Obviously it would have happened sooner but it took forever to get our internet. Anyways... So much has happened since we've arrived. We got a house in an area called "Villagio". It's a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, and best of all, it has CENTRAL AIR! (all the former/current Polk understand why that is so exciting). I have most of the house unpacked. Needless to say we were all happy to get our stuff, especially Lilly. She even has her own playroom since Logan is still in our room.

There is a Park just a short walk from our house, and its almost always packed with kids, which Lilly LOVES. She even made a new friend who is also named Lilly. Whenever the weather is nice enough we take her out so she can run and burn off some of that oh so wonderful toddler energy.

We've made a couple of trips since we've gotten here. We went to Venice on Easter. Lilly really enjoyed the train ride. We went to San Marco Square and just wondered around the city. it was beautiful. The only bad part was all the steps and bridges with Logan's stroller. Sadly we didn't ride in a gondola, The lines were insanely long.

And just this week we went to Verona. We saw the Arena, The Castel Vecchio, and Juliet's House. After walking around and taking in the sights we stopped for dinner at a nice outdoor cafe. The waitresses adored the Kids and Lilly even got some treats!

We've done some exploring in town too. There are a lot of little stores and restaurants we have yet to try, but it seems really nice so far.
