Happy Halloween

 

so this is Lilly's first Halloween and so we went trick or treating!

It was a fun filled evening. she got lots of treats and even had her first lollipop, which made her SUPER sticky but it was worth it to see her so happy. I only wish that Mr.W could have been there to see it ♥

One Day Down. . . Alot More To Go

So yesterday was our first full day apart for this deployment. I'm glad I've been able to keep in touch with Mr.W until earlier this morning. but so far things are going okay. Its still sinking in that he is gonna be gone for a while but luckily I have a beautiful daughter to keep me busy and wonder family and friends to be by my side for support.

Since we have a long way to go still I figured I would countdown to holidays rather than his return date... it helps to keep a postive view... i mean really who doesn't like the holiday:

6 Days until Halloween = CANDY

 

 31 Days Until Thanksgiving = Super Yummy Food

60 Days Until Chirstmas = Time With Family and Presents


I'm stopping there for now... I only want to do the 3 closest holidays because to put any more would make it seem so long again. Hopefully this time will go by quickly.

Are you a night owl or an early bird?

 I am definitely a night owl. Especially now that we have a baby. It's easier to get stuff done when she is sleeping so I usually do alot of cleaning and stuff at night.

What makes you jealous?

I know it sounds kinda cheesy and like I'm lying but I'm really not one to get jealous. Especially when it comes to Mr.W cuz i know he is my one and only ♥

Have you started Christmas/holiday shopping yet? When will you finish? (There’s only 63 days left!)
Haha. I think I usually start after Halloween and finish a little after new years, because I usually go HOME(MI) for Christmas so I get things for my friends back home(LA) before I go back.

What would you have a personal chef make you tonight?
Haha any kind of comfort food ever made... today has been a long and not so good day

Where was your first kiss?
Well I don't remember my FIRST first kiss but I do remember the only first kiss that matters and that would be my first kiss with Mr. W and it was at the top of the play set at "shutes and ladders" park up home in MI at sunset it was beautiful and romantic ♥

3 Little Pumpkins

So here is an update on what our family has done in these last few days.

Friday:

After Mr. W got off of work we found a babysitter and went to see Jackass 3D with a couple of our friends and as obscene and crude as the movie may seem to some... I have to admit that it was pretty hilarious. After the movie we met up with the babysitter and some others for a BBQ and many many rounds of Beer pong between the men... needless to say it was a pretty interesting night.

Saturday:

We woke up and went to the main post chapel for their annual glory festival... there were alot of games and plenty of free snacks including Snow cones, Cotton Candy, and Popcorn

They also had pony rides and a mini pumpkin patch where you could get one free pumpkin per person... so we got 3 little pumpkins

Then were went to the store to pick up some things and headed on over to Mr.W's "work" party
there was great food and once again lots of beer. It was a very long night.

Sunday:
We had a pretty low key day, Mr. W went and watched some football while I did a little shopping and then we baby sat for some friends.

Monday:
Mr. W had to go back to work but luckly got off early so we ran some errands had some dinner and got Lillian the softest and cutest little hoodie. 

Tuesday:
We attempted to get some family pictures but sadly they were booked so we had to make an appointment. After that we went to a friends and watched a movie and had some cake and ice cream. It was pretty yummy. Then we went home and watched our usual shows. a.k.a. Teen Mom

 Wednesday:
 haha sadly we didn't do anything except enjoy each others company.

Today: 
We got got our family pictures done and they turned out great!

 I've been a MilSpouse for about a year and a half and our only duty station so far has been here in Fort Polk, LA

What is your favorite kind of pizza?

 Haha...CiCi's Pizza's Mac n' cheese pizza. Its the best of both worlds.

What are three good things in your life right now?

1. I have a wonderful husband whom I love very much.

2. I have a beautiful and healthy baby girl.

3. Even though we don't have loads of money... we always manage to make it through

Wordless Wednesday

I Believe. . .

... That times flies when your spending time with those you love.

... iPhones are extremely addictive, especially with all the games and gadgets that are available... when I get a hold of Mr.W's its almost impossible to pry out of my hands.

... My daughter is in fact going through a screaming phase... she isn't happy or sad or mad... she is just flat out screaming.

...Baking is a win-lose hobby...Win - you get a sweet treat in the end, Lose - Its not the most nutritional hobby you could take up.

...My husband shouldn't be allowed to drink anything that has the ability to stain my carpet... He has dropped at least 2 cups of RED Kool-aid and 1 cup of grape juice.

So as some of you may have read Mr.W recently got a new iPhone... and of course since I haven't gotten one yet I just use his all the time.

These are my 5 favorite apps :

Red Laser
A free app that allows you to scan the barcodes on household objects. It will tell you all the information about it and give prices so you can get the best deal

 Star Walk

NOT FREE but super cool especially if you enjoy looking at the stars in the night sky

Doodle Games
A free app that includes 9 games that you can unlock one at a time its super addictive.

Doodle Find
Another free app. Its a object search game where you try to find as many of the demanded objects as you can in 1minute and 30 seconds.

Words With Friends
I use the free version, its basically scrabble that you can play with random people, friends with iPhones, or even the person sitting next to you.

Milspouse Friday Fill-in #16

1.What is the longest road trip you’ve ever taken?
the longest road trip i've ever been on would have to be our drive from Michigan to Louisiana after we got married and moved down to his duty station.

2.Do you collect anything? Tell us a bit about it.
sadly I'm not much of a collector

3.What is your favorite part about being an adult?
Haha. I think my favorite part is that you really don't have to do what people tell you too and you have more opportunity to do what you please.

4.What song brings a tear to your eye?
I'm already there by lonestar. It gets me everytime.

5.Describe your first plane ride (how old you were, where you were heading, etc).
the first flight that I can remember is from Michigan to Florida. I was flying there to see my dad and I was about 11. It was pretty fun.

What We've Been Up To

So its been a crazy couple of days....
Thursday was Mr.W's deployment ceremony and then we went to shopping and to dinner with some friends
Friday, since Mr.W didn't have to work we went and ran some errands and then went to hang out at a friends house. Sadly Mr.W's phone was sat in some water and got damaged so first thing Saturday morning we went to the AT&T store and got him a new phone. He got one of the NEW iPhone 4. Which is pretty cool so far and I will most likely get it when he leaves for his deployment.

And today is football day. So hopefully the Packers do better this week than they did last week.
