Wanted Wednesday

So I've seen a lot of things that I really want lately... but here are my top 5 for the week.

1. Scentsy Companion System
I have recently become half obsessed with this stuff thanks to one of my co-workers who is also a consultant and I have some scents but have yet to buy any of the warmers.

2. A Pregnancy Massage

This sounds absolutely heavenly!

3. Penguin Jammies for Lilly

Saw these at Sears the past weekend and almost had to buy them...so darn cute!

4. Donald Driver Jersey

Since Mr.W and I are planning on going to the game in Houston this season I really want this before we go!

5. FALL

Whats not to love? The cool air, the tasty food, the AMAZING smells from the food! I'm looking forward to it more and more!

Sunday Report

So I haven't blogged since Tuesday and I wanted to fill you all in on my eventfully last few days...

Wednesday I was woken up by a phone call from Directv calling to tell me that they could install my dish a day early, so of course i jumped on that and was rushing around to get ready for them before I left for work, only to discover that my work schedule had changed and instead of needing to be there at 11am, I didn't have to be there until 2pm. They got here around 12:30 so I was so happy and thought they would finish by the time I had to leave for work....WRONG... when I returned home at 5 he was just leaving! But I have to say...I'm LOVING the service and all the additional channels. (especially Disney Junior for Lilly)
Shortly after I arrived home I had to go pick up Mr.W from work and then pick up some food for dinner.

Thursday was not as eventful. I had to work 12-8 and it sucked... I stood in one spot prepping stuffed crust pizzas for almost 3 Hours, before doing that I was cutting and boxing pizzas for about an hour and after the stuffed crust I got some other dough ready for the night. Needless to say that my feet were KILLING me by time my shift was over, so I came home ate dinner and fell asleep.

Friday I was at work for about an hour when I had an "episode". If your wondering what an "episode" is, let me explain. I'm usually working when suddenly I will become very shaky, dizzy, lightheaded, nauseous, short of breath, having blurred/spotted vision and my heart will be racing. Anyways. The last time I had one of these I called the Hospital to make an appointment to discuss this issue with a doctor. Instead of an appointment I got told to come into Labor and Delivery next time I experienced one of these "episodes" and this brings us back to the beginning of Friday.

I had Mr.W come get me and take me to the hospital after checking in and being put in a waiting room for about 45 minutes I finally got put in an exam room where I sat with my HUGE cup of water and was strapped to all those awesome monitors so they could keep track of me and baby. about 1 Hour and 32oz of ICE COLD water later I gave them their sample and then waiting to see if they found anything. another 45 Minutes later they gave me my discharge instructions which were as follows:

- Drink plenty of water
- Make sure you're eating enough
- Rest

It was pretty much a waste of almost 3 hours! They didn't tell me anything I didn't already know! So by time we left and got home I was SUPER hungry and ready for a nap. We went home napped and then went to dinner. It was a nice quiet night with Mr.W and Lilly.

Yesterday we decided to have a beach day and drove down to Holly Beach. It was a little bit windy but we had lots of fun. We even got to take Rocko to Petsmart where he got a new ball for the beach and some treats.
After we finished swimming we found a pet friendly hotel and went and washed everyone up before heading into Lake Charles for dinner and some shopping. It was so nice to get away from Fort Polk for just a day and have some quality family time.

We found a dog park for Rocko to run at this morning before heading home and now we are just getting things ready for the week ahead. Hope everyone else is having a good weekend as well!

Burnt Out...

Today was a very long day. I woke up to the beautiful sound of lawn mowers cutting our yard. This should have been a sign as to what kind of day it was going to be.

We woke up, had breakfast and I headed of to work where i thought for whatever reason that it was going to be an easy day since our rotation is out doing training... but oh man was I wrong. My 12-6 shift turned into a 12-7:30 shift fairly quickly. Between people calling out, people showing up late, and the dinner rush, there was no escaping. By time I got home all I wanted to do was eat some dinner and go to sleep, but if your a mom you should know that napping with a 2 year old present is a ridiculous concept, and cooking yourself real food is the last thing you want to do after spending the previous 3 hours cooking food for other people.

This is where the day gets better...
I managed to scrap together a bagel and some juice and that was good enough for me. Mr. W headed to "the gym" no to long after. He returned with chocolate milk,  twizzlers, and some lemonade for me... all this meaning he did NOT go to the gym. While he was gone Lilly played some games and watched netflix on my phone while Ashley (my sister in law) and I watched The Hunger Games. It turned into a very relaxing evening.

Highlight of the day...
Lilly calling my STRAWBERRY lemonade...
STRAWBOOTY lemonade.
She cracks me up.

Hot Dog!

My television has officially been taken over by a two year old!

Whenever I am home the only thing that ever seems to be playing on my TV when Lilly is around is either Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or Yo Gabba Gabba! (I have to admit that Mickey Mouse is much more tolerable than Yo Gabba Gabba.)

Lilly is OBSESSED with Mickey though and here are some pictures to prove it...

Take A Deep Breath...

This is no longer a valid concept in my life. Not for the next few months anyways.
Little man has decided that the most comfortable place to be is in my lungs, and it wouldn't be so bad except for the fact that I need them to breathe. And every time I try to take a deep breath all get is a kick in the ribs. I can already tell he is going to be a little more feisty than his sister.

In other news... Mr. W is home from the field. Sadly he did come home pretty sick. last night his temperature was 102.5 when it finally broke it resulted in a sweat soaked bed only to be followed a couple hours later by my husband having the chills which resulted in him putting on a long sleeve shirt and sweatpants. He felt much better this morning but still not 100%

and here is the picture of the day...

July to Now

IN JULY:
We went to freedom fest. This year it featured Gretchen Wilson and .38 Special. We didn't know many songs by either band, But we did get to spend some time with our friends and with each other. And because it was july and Louisiana we spent some time at the pool trying to cool off. Lilly and I got a little sunburnt (myself a little more than Lilly) but its to be expected when you have such fair skin.

Mr. W turned 23. He had to work the roads on his Birthday but me and Lilly made him a cake for when he got home and it turned out great! He was so happy that his birthday wasn't a "complete waste."

also... we found out the gender of the baby and...
ITS A BOY!

PRESENTLY:

We have not decided on a name yet nor have we started shopping but it will all come in time.
I am currently 24 weeks along and he is growing right on track.

I am still working and plan to keep working until I find myself being in the way or the baby comes...which ever happens first at this rate.

Lilly spent more time in the water and even went bowling with us last weekend. I also decided to buy some playdoh for her and see how it would go and I must say I am slightly impressed that it has not been smooshed into the carpet or blended together. she has fun pretending its food and cutting it up. and everything else she makes is a "fish". She is as fun as ever and I am LOVING every minute of it!

April, May, & June

IN APRIL:
We took a couple trips to Houston. the first was to take Mr. W's parents back to the airport. we spent the day before at the zoo and took them to Rainforest cafe for dinner. The second time was with our friends we went to the zoo again and also went and did some shopping. Mr.W's sister, Ashley, ended up staying with us to help with Lilly while we are working and so that she could get out of small town, Michigan for a while.

We even had a date night with our friends. we all went to dinner and then went bowling!

IN MAY:
We got to see Baby #2 for the first time!

we also took Lilly to the new splash park on post, i got my new kindle and we brought home a new member of the family... Rocko!
And FINALLY Mr.W and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary. He took me out to dinner at Hana's!(fancy Japanese restaurant)

IN JUNE:
We did a whole lot of nothing... we worked and worked and that's about it. everyone in a while me and Mr.W would actually have time off together and tried our best to make a day of it but that usually just meant taking Lilly to the park or going to a movie. but time together is better than no time at all <3

January,February, & March

IN JANUARY:
We went to the Houston Zoo on new years day and it was a ton of fun. Lilly loved seeing all the animals and spending some quality time with just mom and dad. I also started my New (not so glamorous job) at pizza hut. Little did i know what i was getting myself into when I started working there.

(p.s. military familys get into the Houston zoo for FREE)

IN FEBRUARY:
We got into our schedules and worked... it was a very uneventful month.

IN MARCH:
I celebrated my 21st birthday! It was a blast! My husband and took me out to the bar with our friends and needless to say I got pretty drunk. I remember a majority but what I remember most is getting a cake smashed in my face. Needless to say it was a fun evening. We also spend the weekend in Shreveport while Lilly was with a babysitter. My husband took me to all the casinos and we went shopping!

We got our carpet replaced. not by choice, I might add. We returned home from Shreveport only to discover that our entire downstairs had flooded overnight. It sucked :(

A few weeks later we celebrated Lillian's 2nd birthday! Mr.W's parents came down to visit for the week and we had lots of fun we spent some time in Houston, Went to the south Texas State Fair, took Lilly to Chuck E. Cheese for her birthday and spent some greatly needed time together.

and finally, drumroll please....

WE'RE PREGNANT!
we found out the day after St. Patrick's day.

Sidelined

Oh goodness! its been a while since I wrote...sorry I left you all.

Mr. W has been home since the end of October and we have been on the go up until this week with all the holidays. he was home for about 2 weeks before he went on block leave.

we went to Florida to visit my Father and had a great time. We went to Sea World, Downtown Disney, Busch Gardens, And a Tampa Bay Lightning game!

And then we were home for literally one day and went to Houston with our friends who were being sealed and left about 3 hours after that for Michigan where we surprised Mr.W's dad and sister for their birthdays. it was alot of fun and they were very excited to see us. and we had a great time. we went ice skating, made lilly's first snowman, had thanksgiving dinner, i made my first ever apple pie, and spent some quality time with our family.

And finally we came back home and spent Christmas at Fort Polk for the first time since actually being stationed here. And I have to admit it was a nice change of pace. in the months to follow Mr.W got back to his usual work and I actually got a job as well. Its nothing glamorous but its better than nothing.

(don't worry i will do posts for each month to do a full recap)
